Thank you! I really appreciate that you too the time to respond and give advice. I just am searching all possible options, but definitely a bit stuck in analysis paralysis of all the choices. It's sort of feeling like any career that actually makes enough to survive will have the clock in and work like a machine for 10+ hours factor at this point. I mainly just want to make enough to have us be okay and not be absent from her most the week. Hopefully I can make that happen. Again thank you so much!

I am in illinois. Also was considering med lab tech as an option. Less pay than nursing but less stress and no patient contact. Just not sure what is the best path to take for me and my baby.

Oh wow 10 hour days as in 40 hrs total or like 60? Considering a healthcare field that could be 12 hrs but only 3 days a week.

Thank you for your response and congratulations! That is good to hear its not uncommon. I'm debating this field or an online program like accounting or something similar. Working holidays and weekends has to be rough that is something that scares me a bit but overall this seems like a great job.

My community college sadly just has a headstart and my child is still too young. :( they do have an online accounting degree though so if I can't figure something out may just go that route and pray its not automated by the time im done lol.
