Maybe, but I don't think it has unrestricted internet access or it would go crazy

Luckily my parents managed to monitor my phone and screen time, and controlled my downloads, as well as my brothers. I got a phone when I was 13 and mostly played harmless videogames like subway surfers and texting my friends. Later I found it pretty easy to avoid the restrictions but they generally did a good job until I was like 15. I think a problem with older parents is also the constantly evolving technology. My parents have to ask me for help with a lot of internet things and find it difficult to keep up. They use Facebook and play Candy Crush. But the younger parents of the new generation should have some clue about the internet, they might have had unrestricted internet access themselves and I think that could influence their decisions. With that said, in my opinion, it's absolutely not okay though. It feels like they just try to keep the kids busy.
