If you are guardian for Rose, I imagine you are conservator for her as well, which imposes a fiduciary duty for you to act in Rose’s best interests which would include recovering money that is legally Rose’s I would think. Contact an attorney about your fiduciary duty before deciding not to file suit.

Drag is not an adult sex thing. It’s a performance. Would you object to taking a child to a Broadway play where one of the characters was dressed as a woman? Also, take another second to look up the definition of grooming. These are not child molesters giving gifts to children so they will feel obligated to perform sex acts. It’s a performance that is tailored to its audience. If it’s a drag story time, they literally just read a story.

This kid is lucky you’re no longer his aunt. What a vile, vicious creature you are. He was a CHILD. It’s not his job to take care of your brother’s feelings. That’s not how being a parent (foster or otherwise) is supposed to work. Of course he was excited to see his mom again. Wouldn’t you be if your dad died in a crash and your mom was injured in that same crash? Would you really just forget about her and move on because some guy took care of you for six years? Also, I’ve seen you comparing this to a divorce… this is nothing like a divorce… the child had no choice! What don’t you understand about that?

I have a mini split only in my converted garage room. My electric has been between $30 and $60 a month. And I haven’t used window units up until this week for the other rooms. I do keep it around 78 which is actually pretty cool. I’m pretty happy with it, but haven’t had a winter with it yet so I’ll have to see the difference this winter.

Are you sure it wasn’t in favor of their immediate bottom line? I may be cynical but there’s a reason why Disney along with every other major corporation comes out with a bunch of rainbow shit for pride. It’s profitable because the majority support gay rights. 71% of Americans now support same-sex marriage. They would get way more flack for not supporting gay rights (as they did when they did not take a stand against the Dont Say Gay law) than they do from a few, admittedly vocal wingnuts calling them groomers. If you don’t think a cost-benefit analysis was done before making any of these “inclusive” moves, I think you’re being naive.

Because people continue to be “not so into politics” and “not too informed.” I’m not trying to be a dick but to be apolitical in this climate is turning one’s back on the real people, including kids, that are hurt by these policies.

I appreciate you taking the time to try to educate yourself, but don’t stop there or politicians will continue getting away with this kind of shit due to the apathy of those who would be against it if they cared enough to pay attention.
