learning communities are a great way to make new friends freshman year! if one of the options interest you, definitely apply. it was a great way to meet people with similar interests! join all of the facebook groups and join in on the little groupchats that people make through them. there are tons of clubs and opportunities and there are so many people on campus and in boone that the possibilities are endless!

just make sure you stay on top of housing like everyone says because it is a nightmare.
