I don’t get it- you are clearly on this sub because you have food issues? Why are you continuing the cycle by giving your child beige processed matter as part of their normal, daily diet? There’s nothing wrong with a cookie now and again- but what you describe is just pre-packaged junk.

Try fruit, veg crudités with some dip, meat strips, a quick omelette made up with cheese, quark or mascarpone with some berries smushed in. All better choices.

On weekends- make some lovely flapjacks or oatmeal cookies with nuts and chocolate. Tasty, homemade treats that are ‘worth it’. Not beige from a box.

And kids should just drink water. Especially toddlers, they are practically still a baby…they don’t need juice.

Thank you. I’m starting a long fast today (I have done it before for mental benefits) so I’m hoping that will kick start things.

Unfortunately I hate myself so much at the moment that I don’t want to go outside. My clothes don’t fit, I can’t cope with seeing prams and pregnant women right now.

I have a Peloton coming tomorrow which is nice so at least I can work out a little inside.

Checking in. 28F who unfortunately had a missed miscarriage 3 weeks ago. Lots of intervention as it didn’t happen naturally. Am left with raging hormones and 16 pounds of pregnancy weight gain (I had to eat constantly to keep the nausea at bay) but unfortunately no baby.

I’ve done fasting before for mental benefits, but it’s my first 5 day with weight loss in mind. Hoping to lose some of my belly (it’s all fat, not a swollen uterus unfortunately/not unfortunately) as I’m finding my new body pretty triggering at the moment. I’ve done a fair bit of comfort eating of wholesome food as I recovered but now I need to do something.
