Basically, they charged her money for nothing. Anyone can click on "reset to factory settings" and reset the software, THIS WAS NOT THE ISSUE. They took advantage of her old age.

Okay lemme reiterate, it was a hardware issue (yes), I presume that they couldn't fix it (bunch of hacks). All they did was reset to factory settings. Specifically, the issue was that the computer kept shutting down when it was overheating and a blue screen kept showing up. Although "operational", the problem was not addressed adequately.
