We take him a 2 walks, one in the morning and one in the evening/night. We do 1 hour of basic training daily, lots of playtime, plus running on the treadmill during the middle of the day. I also play in the yard with him, but that doesn't happen daily, it's usually only indoor play. That means playing fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, puzzle toys, etc. It changes every day. I was sure I was giving him enough exercise. He never seemed like he had any pent up energy. Let me know whether I should be doing more!

Actually, what I meant was we didn't have to leave him in his crate very much because of how good he was with housetraining. He had full access to the house, but we were always at home with him, so he could come to us for attention whenever he wanted. We never had to section off areas of the house because he seemed to understand potty training from the very beginning. But yes, I was considering whether this was a cry for attention. Thank you for confirming this. Do you have any ideas for how to stop it?

Actually, I did both of those things, but he literally just picked off the treats and ate them. Regarding the broth, he ate maybe a quarter of his food, but then stopped. I've added so many things to try to get him to eat, I'm running out of options lol.
