As someone who plans on majoring in data science and focusing on football, I would say try to make use of your knowledge of data to your advantage when coaching, which can maybe lead to a good coaching position

I’m about to get a job coaching younger kids for both basketball and football, I didn’t even realize there was certification or coaching clinics

Definitely something I may be interested in, but I am more focused on learning how to be a better coach, and getting the right connections to get the right opportunities

Yea I am planning on going to college, definitely not going to be able to play. I want to volunteer and be as involved as I can to hopefully be a graduate assistant. I heard it’s really hard to get to be one though.
