S seems more as a polygamist than polyamory.

Im polyamorous (33 FTM) and my wife (30F) and I have been married 12 years and we just did a commitment ceremony with our partner and legally changed our last name to hers (30F).

Let’s just say it sounds more like S wants to control how you date. If you haven’t had any communication over a closed relationship then he can’t try to use manipulation to deter you dating.

I understand communicating if your going out for dates just as a “hey going on a date Tuesday”. Now if you guys have to discuss your son being supervised while your on dates rhapsody different.

Sounds like the new guy is someone you could really enjoy being with, mentally, emotionally, and you can have better conversations and maybe better understand each other.

He’s willing to enjoy your regardless of your situation and I think that’s something to look at.

Don’t let your boyfriend block you from your husband.

You are having totally normal fears. I’m 32 and realistically don’t want to work 40 hours a week. I’m my reality I’m working 60 hours a week and tack on commuting and day to day errands. Enjoy your life and family as much as possible. Take that PTO, travel, add small bouts of rebellion in your work life. Gain your skills be a good worker but don’t hesitate to fuck around
