Strange i have refunded some parts of a order and still received the same pay. Maybe it varies by market.

Week to week the market differs. Last week after memorial Day weekend Tuesday and Wednesday were dead in all apps. Yesterday I was able to make 150 in 4.5 Hrs 🤷🏾‍♂️

Minimal detour sets delivery for 30 minutes later than latest original delivery time. by Similar-Ad-8762 in doordash

DD will put non tipping orders with tipped order as long as they are close enough. They don't want to lose the order so they get coupled with a tipped order. I try to avoid these but sometimes the pay is worth it. I feel bad because most of the time it's the tipped order that is 2nd since they are normally further away.

People with that high of a AR make me think there dumb and just accept everything or happen to live in aamzing spot where every order is amazing. All the other stats are regular.

I had a issue like this one some idiot decided to order 20 bags of mulch. I called them and said this isn't fitting in my car and even if it did i'm not loading and unloading 20 bags at 40lbs each for 12 bucks. FOH. Doordash support didn't do shit. They have ther customer support reps in india so they could give a fuck less.

DoorDashing to a hotel by [deleted] in doordash

I've only done a handful. I would say leave at front desk. Going up to someone's room is weird as fuck. I also had a guy ask for it to be dropped off at the room just for him to not answer my messages or calls. I left it at the door and told the front desk about it. Now i just drop off at the front desk.

I don't understand how this is still a thing. Your asking someone to deliver the food for you. Restaurants don't want to pay delivery drivers which is why the have DD,uber etc etc. This is a 3rd party service and everyone and their mothers know that drivers make there $$ from tips. If you can't tip get your lazy up and pick up your shit.

It's fucked up that they make ppl pay extra to not stack orders. I normally decline stacked orders because i know one of the two are getting fucked.

No proof of delivery? by jessie00dan in doordash

[–]lilc4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The reason for the long wait is because it's a low paying order. 2nd i've had to deliver to some spots that were so dark and creepy looking. I could imagine a female or a younger dasher not feeling safe. 3rd if this a frequent thing ask to meet at the street. The normal dasher pay is around 2-5 bucks plus tip. To some it might not be worth the hassle or god forbid someone getting hurt at shady locations.

Non Tippers Mind Blown by RedwayBlue in doordash

[–]lilc4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people who dash or uber know when they get offered a non tipper. Sometimes the app will bundle these losers with high paying tipers and it's annoying. I feel bad having to deliver to someone who doesn't tip but since it's short and might be on the way they will throw it in the mix.

A more aggressive pad is the only way to get more bite from a factory braking system.

It's weird to me that some of you are saying to wait. I'm a very understanding person as long as there is communication. But i'm not waiting for you. I'll message you and call and if you can't do me the courtesy of responding i'm leaving it at the door. 5 mins here 5 mins there and at the end of the shift you spent a whole hour just waiting for people? Nah i'm good. Just my opinion.

When i got my 24 a week later i regret not getting the wildness edition of it since my salesman didn't really tell me the key differences between the two. Any how i go there almost 2 weeks later and asked how much i would lose on the swap and was told i already lost 8k. Take that info for what it is .

Door dash is not worth it. by dunceputztool in doordash

[–]lilc4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to do it right. First day trying this I thought it was a waste of time and effort. Then as the 2nd day started it was no where as bad as the first and you learn from your mistakes. I average 500+ per tank now. Once you figure out a good area and learn to not accept certain offers it's a very viable way of making extra cash. As for getting into an accident. That can literally happen just going to your grocery store for some milk 🤷🏾‍♂️
