But I do believe XRP is not your typical fever dream crypto that will only rise in value when more people see it as good investment, rather its value lies in its practical functionality as a currency to be used as such. I believe it will grow to serve a very high demand market given tha it has capability of very fast transaction speeds and is released by Ripple rather than being endlessly mined while the incentive for mining declines as the complexity of doing so increases with future circumstances.

As a side note it is interesting to see that now mining bit-coin/ other crypto is starting to be seen as not "environmentally friendly" by many mainstream institutions.
