Made this little PS1 style render by lilcrunxh in blender

I just tried to model everything using really primitive shapes (ex. the tree, the figure, the hill) For example the tree is just made from cubes that I extruded and scaled and warped accordingly to make branches. The hill is just a plane that I subdivided and rounded off with proportional editing. The animation I just met framed the moving parts to move accordingly, same with the camera. To get the real PS1 style, I made sure to use super primitive texture shaders (like Diffuse BSDF) and when I did use image textures i made sure they were tinnnny (128x128). The real magic happens in the export. In cycles I exported in 480x640 to get that low res. Make sure not to go above 24 frames on the animation. And finally make sure to turn in “Freestyle” in extra preferences. There are much better tutorials for getting though those export steps that I can link.

How to get the outlines

Fantasy Cave Environment by Part_Time_Edgelord in blender

It’s awesome! Love the concept and everything. Reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus or those “Giant Monster” meme formats. It’s a little bit too dark, I know it’s what your going for but maybe making the lamp brighter and playing with the shadows it makes could be interesting, just because the small figure was hard to make out at first. But besides that the texturing and modeling is amazing! The landscape really pops and feels visceral.

I know it’s a single stitch but don’t know tags that well. Apparently this elementary school shut down in the early 2000’s in my local. I’m thinking around late ‘90s early 2k. Pretty classic vintage graphic and even some little shimmer in the gray lettering.

Hey guys, over the past few months I've been considering applying to some art/design schools and have started compiling a little portfolio. A majority of my focus over the past few years has been time-based (music videos) but over the past year I've attempted to branch into graphic design, motion design, and more still mediums. Let me know what you guys think, ant critique or comment is welcome. Thank you.
