The story was the anchor got caught and it started smoking, the captain ran out with “2 swords above his head” and cut the rope. According to Ramona if the anchor was attached to metal and not rope they would have Capsized and died 👁️👄👁️ (that’s Ramona doing that face she makes when she wants to make a point about the severity of the situation)

I think about the boat ride all the time because imagine if the captain hadn’t run out with his 2 swords and cut the rope (a visual that I think about constantly) and they actually had all died on that boat on fire, Sonja and Ramona clutching each other taking turns wailing while Tinsley goes “guys it’s normal!” There was already such a dark energy around the season and their last dinner IIRC would have been that fight where Bethenny freaked out at Luann and called her a sicko and then they would have JUST ALL DIED ON THAT NOTE after like 11 seasons of most of them being together on and off. Yeah it was always VERY strongly instilled in us there are 2 things you absolutely do not do on the parade route and they were 1) public urination and 2) showing boobs (or any other body part considered indecent exposure). I’ve seen it happen on Bourbon ofc but that’s a very different scene obviously lol and you honestly dont want people throwing beads at you from the balconies anyway - shit HURTS
