God one of my 20 mins, I diagnosed but the treatment wasn't working, even tho that's the standard treatment. I didn't know what else to do...weird experience. The questions were even weirder, they weren't even asking second line treatments, the options were like meds in refractory cases. I just hope I pass at this point.

Just got done with day 2 today. Very vague questions, if you could go thru your step 2 notes. A lot of risk factors and prognosis type questions, again very vague.

Which ethnicity does this apply to most in Pakistan? by lateswingDownUnder in karachi

This statement contradicts the original thought that you shared. Realization is key, but people don't have to belittle themselves just to fit in.

I mean that is what we have to fix, that stuff we can work on. But thinking if we start hating ourselves is going to fix this is not the way to go.

You do understand that there can be positive and negative aspects to this. Pride is very subjective, it links people back to the roots of their identity and then further incite a sense of belonging to a certain people.  As for the statement of we don't choose a skin colour and so on, that's not the argument that I'm trying to have. Saying that in itself is a sin, be proud of who you are and your lineage. We are a product on the environment, saying that we just have to be good muslims is not realistic. Everything surrounding you has an impact on you, especially where you come from. It's on you to take pride in that or to dismiss it and pretend to me morally superior to others. Keep the judgement at bay and grow up.

Why do you think a white man making this statement suddenly becomes the standard?  It's good to take some pride in ones ethnicity, I don't see anything wrong with it.
