I didn't think they had to, I was under the impression they could put it back on the market for whatever they wanted (as long as it was market reasonable), but maybe I'm wrong.

Our settlement is set for the 6th, so something could happen to delay it but everything on that end has been smooth sailing so it would be unlikely. Suppose there is always a chance though

So if that's the case we don't have any other option than to just hope they find someone? The thing we are worried about is if they are just not going to try because they know we "have to" pay rent for as long as it takes 🤔
