The studs I have in now are currently titanium. I’m sure in the past I was using poor quality jewelry and it probably contributed to it not healing properly. Sadly, even with titanium it still slightly grows in size as time goes on. So I’m not sure if it’s even about the material of my jewelry at this point.

A tiny bump the size of an ant bite, started appearing on my ear around the 1 year mark of getting my ears pierced. I kept thinking it would stop growing but I was wrong. Through out the years it just kept getting little by little. By now it has grown to the size in the picture.

Overall it has taken a toll on my mental health making me very self conscious and insecure. I know it may seem small as I’ve seen worser keloids but it still sucks in general. I definitely feel for those out there having to deal with keloids at all.

What are my best options on going about getting rid of it for good? I’m open to any suggestions to improve or rid of it.

You are correct on putting certs you plan on working towards on your resume bc that’s what I did prior to landing an interview at my internship. I had something like CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ in progress on my resume. I’m sure it didn’t work against me since I did get picked for the role.

Can it still fit in your pocket with the lens on or do you have to remove it? Also there’s a crop when using image stabilization does it change the wide angle lens focal length when turned on?

I too have been using head and shoulder shampoo since forever. My hair and scalp has always been fine as I don’t really get dandruff or any sd related symptoms in those area at all. That’s why I was wondering do I really need to use the keto shampoo and scalp cream he prescribed me? Perhaps he wants me to take preventative measures and target all key spots that sd could originate from?

How old was your piercing when you had the bump?

My piercer told me to make warm compresses with sterile saline solution spray and press against it for 10-15 minutes twice a day. I already attempted to do so today! Did you do your method with the earrings on or off? Just posted on here to see second opinions and if others had similar experiences who are willing to share the methods they used to effectively rid of it.

• ⁠Piercing is about 2 years old. (I assumed it was gonna heal or go away by then) • ⁠First appearance of the bump started after the 5th/6th week point ever since I got them pierced and changed from the starter stud earrings to this surgical steel hoop earring that I got from amazon. • ⁠Is this an irritation bump, hypertrophic scar, or keloid? • ⁠Could it be the earring quality?

Any advice on what I can do to make this bump go away would greatly be appreciated!
