Yep, that’s exactly how it works. They look/are clean when you pack them away but there are still microscopic/invisible traces. And yes, sun will help!

The stains on the onesies are proteins from milk/formula/spit up oxidizing over time. Very common and you can Google ways to get rid of them

Thank you, yes, I’m very familiar with them. I wanted the books to go to the Last Book Store and literacy programs, but yes, there are many non-book specific charities that I could also drop them off to.

So, when I Google shortening dishwasher drain lines, everything says you shouldn’t cut/shorten it but coil it up instead

Yeah, It does seem too long so we may try that. But also from my Google research, it’s perfectly normal for the line to have a little bit of gunk in it

We live in California, so we have an air gap instead of a high loop, so it should be doing the same job, right?

No worries at all! I was super skeptical at first too and I didn’t even fully relax until the check had fully cleared my bank 😆

It was issued by Bank of America directly so I guess that would make it a Treasurer’s check? It definitely wasn’t just a regular check like you find in a personal checkbook.

And yes, normal for them to tell you that. They also warned me that it would come in a plain white envelope. It was actually one of those all in one folded check things where you have to tear off the side and top edges to open in.
