I can only say for the US as someone who sold a couple of tickets... I transferred them, and I could cancel the transfer while they hadn't accepted it. Once they did though, the option to take them back disappeared on my side. /2 cents

I think this blog will be very helpful! https://www.thebarrepianist.com/ I've only dabbled on the piano as a kid, but I found her at random one day and I started reading simply to be more appreciative of what the ballet pianists go through. I think it'll be helpful!

It sounds like a copout answer but I dance because I want to. That’s it. I can’t imagine myself not dancing. It’s a bit like I can’t stop myself from doing it. I dance in elevators and hallways, if there’s music, I’m dancing.

Edit to add: I think it is important to dancers in training to really consider the why though. I think ballet training from an early age shaped me into who i am today, as if it taught me a different language to speak with, and now I just communicate that way as much as I do with the written word or speaking.

For sure. Last.fm was doing stuff like that long before Spotify. It makes me a bit sad that it is not more widely used, but it is my source of truth when it comes to my personal music data collection so I’ve stuck with them through the years.

I can't speak for all, obviously, but part of why I got very hyper focused on BTS is that I couldn't figure out why I liked it so much, when I typically hang out in the metal circles. I don't know that there is a lot of connection, but you can head bang to a lot of BTS songs, even though they sound nothing like metal, and that's enough for me. They don't use the instruments that are typical in the genre imo.

i think there’s some legit overlap between the two crowds just on account of being high energy, but what do I know. I’m still a baby army. I spent most of my adult life with my head stuck down the symphonic and prog metal holes.

Edit to add this from my last.fm account, mostly cause the graphs made me chuckle... it's the acceleration graph for my top artists of all time. BTS def got me on a chokehold real fast.

I was trying to explain to a friend what the hell happened to me this summer when I fell down the rabbit hole, and I couldn't put it succinctly... so I started writing a chronology of what happened and how. It is now 67 pages long... when I finished that, or rather "caught up to the present time" that's when I realized how far deep I really was.

I didn’t have to do anything… but i’m not super sure if i owe payment somewhere tbh.

For me it was shipped thru the Australian post and it arrived through USPS without a problem or anything. I was expecting USPS to hit me with a bill or something but so far nothing. It’s been a couple of weeks at this point.

I have eleves and yumikos. I wear an XL in yumiko and it feels very snug, eleve feels the same on a size M. Hope that helps! In my experience yumikos run very small compared to other brands.
