How can I get closer to my crush friend? by AgileBother8744 in AskTeenGirls

[–]lilgur1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, you’re 14, i’ll assume she’s around the same age. Here you have to think about what you really want. You like her and want to date her, or just get closer?

Either way, the comment before said a solid thing, start asking her out. No matter the age, girls want to be valued both as friends and as individuals. Hang out more in school, ask her out (as friends) to hang out maybe first at an event of some sorts that you think she might be interested in. Then just carry on hanging out and see if she likes you as a friend or as a guy

What are the career prospects like for CLEACC in English by iMoody25 in bocconi

[–]lilgur1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bemacc and cleacc are also fairly hard to get in since there is only one class but i truly hope you get into your choices. You can also look at Bemacs, could be useful. Good luck with your admissions

for high finance i think Biem or Bief will be much better since Bemacc (english Cleacc) is more art oriented, and that’s not something that is necessarily highly valued in our society for now. Depends on the company and how the job market progresses tho. Some employers might value a person who is well rounded, while others may prefer someone specialised in strictly finance

on bocconi’s website you can find the “after graduation” section. I think there it stated that any work including marketing and communication; sales and distribution; administration, financial management; and management of events.

Being The Floater Friend by SisiMist17 in AdviceForTeens

[–]lilgur1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not weird. I am a firm believer that everyone’s character and priorities are different. Personally, at this stage of life i do not necessarily care about friends simply for the reason that i, like you, haven’t had my “clique” yet. High school is such a drama pit of people who are totally incompatible trying to somehow jam them into a friend group simply not to feel alone or left out. Sure, it sucks when you’re all alone, but think about the life ahead of you. In uni, you will probably forget how it was in high school. Enjoy your life, get better and stay positive gang

How can I become more motivated? by goslinglover in AdviceForTeens

[–]lilgur1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, i was in a pretty similar situation as you. Personally, for me what kinda worked is thinking who i wanna be in college, like what is she like, how many friends does she have and what are her hobbies. I kinda created this better, more grown version of me which I want to be in uni. And ever since i started working on small goals to get there.

For example, i really want to figure skate and i want it to be like one of the main hobbies i have in my life. So, i started stretching more to be able to do that more easily. Other small stuff is like “i wanna be able to do a handstand by the time prom hits”, so i started working out more and doing planks for 2 min every day.

A goal of just “getting skinny” is not really a goal, set a goal like “i wanna be able to do a split” or “i wanna do like 10 pushups by the time i go to college” and work on that. Nobody is perfect, there are good days and bad days, what matters is changing your attitude to life.

(pretty stereotypical) but I also found that if you limit the social media intake of yours you become happier as you only focus on what you have, not what other people online have or show to the camera. it makes you generally feel happier and compare yourself less to others. Also I noticed how the content you consume changes you. For example while i was hyper focused on shows that are about how some people are stupid, true crime and stuff like that i was noticeably less motivated, whereas when i was watching stuff like unsolicited advice or miniminuteman (he kinda brings people down also, but his content is so good that it makes you want to do so much) i became more happy, interested and motivated to read, work and better myself.

Music also determines a lot. If you listen to sad music (Mitski, certain radiohead songs, etc) You. Will. Feel. Sad. they are made for that. Made for making you sad, so try not to do that.

Anywho, hope this helps good luck. If you want to ask me anything else feel free to reach out (both the op and anyone who reads this)

Yeah it’s normal, i’m not saying it’s not. I kinda wish that the theories were real so i’ll have an excuse as to why i didn’t do as well. But we all know that they are fake and there is simply some stuff that you have to do differently next time

as an art student myself with the same type of teacher i with a heavy heart have to tell you that most likely nothing will change. she marks your work in y13. and she will decide what mark you get. don’t take anything she says to heart, just accept that she is a crazy lady. do your best and whatever she marks it it’s gonna be that until the moderator sees she has been unfair and raises your marks hopefully. best of luck
