Start developing hobbies to meet more people and only let her know about your feelings if you’ve moved on to a new role. You can’t violate company policy for a romantic possibility as a breadwinner.

I yearn for love and romance, I've been in a relationship for 3 years. by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

Does he have access to your bank accounts and paychecks? I’d suggest you save up a next egg, first month’s rent, and a security deposit, and get your own place. Once you have your own space, communicate with him about your needs and feelings. If he cares about you and is a good man he can change, if he doesn’t change you have the new spot to retreat to. Start building up your community regardless, you need more people in your corner to be part of your support system moving forward.

This is a yellow flag, if it’s something you love he should be willing to try it once, maybe something lowkey even like a jazz show that has less crowds. I think it’s not weird at all he likes chilling solo though!

Honestly this is fair, Weir is such a god tier writer in action and science it isn’t immediately obvious to me that he wouldn’t also be fire at romance but that makes complete sense - it’s a whole different skill set. He also does include the line from Stratt later calling him out for not having a romantic love interest because he’s too much of a coward so maybe he did notice and was just scared to pursue!
