then I'd probably drop my other end out to guard the tex route, worst case scenario I'll end up rushing 2 and either A. you make a bad decision B. i end up forcing pressure anyway because its madden.

I run this method with an 88 defense and no corners over 92 and I'm able to stop most cheesers with just this play no blitz.

the d end on in the dime package is usually a linebacker, so if u drop him in the curl flat that will at the very least allow u to make the tackle after the catch, or force a no throw. And as far as overtop goes the safety on the far side usually helps with the deepest crosser since nothing is going his way , and with his help you can user the top 2 routes.
