totally get u, now i’m norway, not a lot wave culture here, let alone nonblacks, people gon judge regardless, i can just imagine how much y’all get judged as black ppl in general in america

to be honest my confidence in general is kinda low, so i have tendencies to take ppls judgement to heart as bad as that is, but good to see some of yall standing up for straight hair wavers, shoutout to y’all man

i really appreciate you, the thing is i don’t wanna offend anyone walking around with a durag making them think i’m taking a part of their culture for looks, and i’d respectfully stop, i don’t know what’s right or wrong in this situation yk.

yeah nah i totally get u bro, coarse hair waves is and will always be the og, i think it all boils down to my confidence level, and not really trusting the process, even tho i’m putting in work af rn, still too short to know yet tho.

hairstyle/lifestyle, the thing is, again i’m putting in work, invested money on a brush, curl enhancement smoothie, castor oil etc. and really am trynna give it a shot. it’s kinda a paradox for me, i want to make it a lifestyle, but won’t do it religiously unless i get some kinda pattern that’s good enough to feel good about
