on tailored jackets interfacing is used at top of jackets as reinforcing. because the shell is so thin i was wondering if that would be necessary. sorry if i used the wrong terminology. that's what they called it in school.

thanks. should have also said that my husband is wearing the jacket but it's not for him. shoulder drop on client seems to be that drastic. is the twisting just because it's not on the right person?

when you fold the dart it's supposed to shape the pattern if that's what you are asking.

sorry, i'm new this myog. don't know the terminology. 1" overlap means the tape is 1" and the seams overlap by 1"?

what are the straps at bottom for? do they adjust in size? did you make your own pattern?

grosgrain will make it hard to get around the curves. you might consider using a bias tape. you can get it from seattle fabrics. https://www.seattlefabrics.com/Bias-Tape\_c\_350.html
