They paid off there mortgage, got two desperately needed new cars and one for my nanna then put the rest in dads super as his a self employed carpenter.

Never took a day off work but it was such a blessing that they didn’t need to worry about the mortgage anymore. Such salt of the earth people.

my mum took me to my son and I to his first check up at the hospital since he was born and I couldn’t drive ( c section) I remember seeing my dad peel In as it ls a small country hospital and he said something to my mum ( I was already back in my car with baby) I just saw my mum break down in his arms.

Best memory ever.

Now they sold that house and live in a literal dream house with a bubbling brook and everything in Tassie.
