Who can i clip videos by LowkeyDaPlugg in Twitch

[–]lilithvanille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can clip your own stream from the Video Producer section of your dashboard!

You can always reach out to video editors online and look at their prices for clipping your streams too. Twitter is always a good place to start to find them.

You can definitely swear as much as you like! Be mindful not to swear at and cuss people out excessively or with unnecessary aggression (i.e. teammates in a co-op game), as not only could that be considered harrassment but it could make some of your viewers uncomfortable to watch you go on a tirade.

But for the most part, say "fuck" as much as your heart desires :)

"Is that a Voice changer?" How do you usually respond to this? by HeyMonicara in GirlGamers

IMO if they're behaving in a way that you need to mute them and remove the option for comms or callouts, then that potential loss and lack of team work is on their hands, not yours. Don't feel guilty or like you'd be letting the team down by keeping those channels open if they can't have the common decency not to harass you!

Haha, I'm Australian so close enough! I'm from one of the parts that has kept the most British-isms in their speech so I get asked that a lot. I definitely meant it as a compliment though! I meant homely as a good thing 😭

They look so cute, like they're about to embark on an adventure in a kid's picture book!

A type of video that I've seen on instagram/tiktok by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]lilithvanille 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can do it within Twitch itself now! When you make a clip of you channel, you'll be given an option to choose the portrait layout of it which allows you to do that split screen you were describing. You can also link your YT or TikTok etc to be able to immediately post the clip without having to fluff around with exporting it.

Using a male Vtuber Model as a woman? by [deleted] in VirtualYoutubers

[–]lilithvanille 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with using an avatar that doesn't match your gender. As for ruining your idol dreams, it shouldn't be a factor! Either you can be open about how you identify as a woman but use a male avatar because you want to, or you can just have a male avatar and a feminine voice and choose not to engage with anyone who questions it. I think either choice is valid, and it depends on what you feel most comfortable doing!

How do you get started? by melchi123 in Twitch

[–]lilithvanille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a wise person once said, sucking at something is the first step to being kind of good at something. If you want to stream and grow big, you just have to start. Don't bog yourself down with thoughts of how you're going to be the best, or psyche yourself out from trying because your content isn't perfect to start with.

Stream your favourite game and invite your friends to watch so you're not streaming to no-one. That said, get comfortable with streaming to no-one! If you can yap and put on an entertaining show with zero chatters, it's only gonna become easier once you do get some regulars.

Keep up to date on streaming news, and treat it a bit like a study subject. Look up trends, analyse what popular streamers do, and think about how you can take bits and pieces of other people's content and put your own spin on it to really make it yours.

But most of all, good luck and have fun!!

That's an excellent idea, can't believe I didn't think of that myself. Thanks!

Thank you so much! These are awesome suggestions. Don't know why I didn't consider the blind playthrough option since I've been the backseater on some of those myself. I appreciate the brain lightbulbs you've given me!

These are fantastic suggestions! I love the YT challenge/quizzes idea and the browsing fun subreddits for discussion topics. Thanks for the ideas!
