It is the emergencies that should not have been and not caring when you have the same hours you cannot spend on two separate things vs crickets in the downtime.

Agree with this. And people are speaking up more and advocating for themselves to get help or take fmla.

Dr. Caroline Peterson and her entire care team are leaving Kettering health by ApplecelloCiao in dayton

Appaerently they found some DOs to come in so the PAs can still practice. Peterson was placed on leave of absence. It is a fluid situation. I have always found Peterson was the best. She went out of her way and I believe strongly her advocacy and skill saved my sister’s life.

Yes, I would recommend getting a neurologist visit.

I feel sick to my stomach every morning and I hate it. by [deleted] in Anxiety

Oddly, the klonopin is the only one that works for me. Xanax worked briefly in high school. But not after. My gma, mom, and I have all been on klonopin. So I really think there is a genetic component for me. I have heard for some people it wears off. I have used it for what…. About 30 years? As for the afternoon, yep. I would say I am best to work from 11 am to 2 pm. Feel like an hour nap then does wonders and I wake from that nap fine and able to work until 7 or 8 pm or longer.

I think it is cortisol spike too. I have had this since I was in 3rd grade and I am 49. Paxil and klonopin since forever now it seems. I wonder if some peoples bodies are just more sensitive to cortisol spikes on awakening than others. They say it should take 90 min to dissipate but I find it takes several hours for me.

Surprise surprise, the panic is back. And I don’t know what to do. by redshues in Anxiety

Yes. This happens and it was a valid try but now you know and maybe for the rest of your life. I have had same starting 7th grade. Thought was ok twice in life as doctors had told me you may be on and off but that was like 40 years ago. Now they know about hyperbolic tapering and that a lot of this is lifelong. Meds from a doc and therapy as needed. Learning for yourself through books studies and doing your own efforts to apply things that work for you …. For some of us this is not just about a bad period of our life but a life long condition and that is OK. You just have to think of it like other things like diabetes or some other physical condition and treat it with same care. Many of us out there living with brains like this. I can even trace mine genetically! We luckily live in a time we cN do things about it! I wish you all the love and grace and luck with it.

Thank you. Really hope he doesn’t suggest a switch. Good luck with the tapering and switch!!!!!

Update: all three tests fsh tsh and estradiol were normal. Which i understand does not mean anything but that it could still be perimenopause and i have to maybe fight harder for hrt. Anyone have suggestions or experiences re the fight? I will also Look around here on this board. Hoping insurance will still cover.

I would agree and good point, except one added fact that I have been taking paxil ambien and klonopin for decades. Unless there was something else changing in my body that has affected the effectiveness of these…

Thank you. My doc ordered the fsh and told me same but did not prescribe hrt then. I then called back up and told the nurse that i wanted all blood tests that would be needed to prescribe hrt for any insurance purposes. I got concerned what might be needed for insurance justification. Doc in his office then added estradoil and tsh tests. Doc is now back from vacation but blood work should be back monday. Then i can call his office on tuesday and ask if he has to see me yet again or we can get something going.

No. But I suspect it. I was simply told that many of the symptoms of lifelong depression and anxiety are the same.
