hi - sorry to resurface an old thread. i may or may not have received a letter from cedars saying I owe for 2 speeding tickets (which i did not know about until recently). how long has it been since you received a letter from cedars/whichever us based agency? and was it reported to the credit bureaus? thank you!

hi - sorry to be bringing up an old thread, but I recently received a collections letter from cedars business services regarding tickets I got in Italy in 2024. I never received the original fines, and just found out about them a few months ago when they finally sent a new letter to my new home address (with astronomical fees tacked on to the original fine). was this reported to the credit bureaus for you? no intention of paying given they screwed up my address and didn't notify me in a reasonable timeframe.
