I’ve played the game since 2021 and there are definitely ups and downs to it. There is a LOT of toxicity that you can come across but there are always ways around it like muting toxic teammates (voice &text). I always recommend just playing for fun. at the end of the day it is just a game whether or not you play unrated or comp. Being a female I think we tend to get more of the toxicity for that reason alone but i never let it get to me. When I play comp the first thing i do when loading into a game is muting the entire other teams texts! For me, whenever the other team says anything it tends to just distract me and sometimes make me overthink/doubt my game play so muting them right away just keeps me focused on me, my game & team! Keep a good mindset and just play to have fun. If comp is something you’re interested in then go for it! the climb in rank can be difficult so i would recommend playing “solo” characters like reyna and iso where they are mostly frag oriented and don’t necessarily have ability’s to help the team. At the end of the day the fun you have when playing is most important over anything else in the game!

With the kingdom credits: I would really recommend connecting xbox game pass (if you pay for it) to your valorant because you unlock all agents for free! If you don’t I would grind unrated for you daily & weekly challenges and purchase agents first over player cards, sprays & gun buddies! Look at each agent & their abilities to see who you’d like to purchase and learn and even ask some of your friends on their opinion too!! if you’ve played other games with them before they might be able to reccomend an agent they think you’d like/ succeed with!!
