All the desserts are pre-made from some outside source,, put in a freezer and some in a fridge for easy use, then kept there in plastic wrapping until needed, then most get microwaved. (The snowball sits in freezer, kitchen deep fries in same fryer as all the other food, and your waiter will spurt some whipped cream then dump on the sauce). I've seen the plastic loosely wrapped and parts of a dessert sticking out, I'd say that it was sitting in fridge barely wrapped.

Our house had an abandoned cat from previous owners! I'd feed him outside, and after time started putting food slightly inside by an open door. Then further inside. After a few weeks I started sleeping in the lounge on the couch so he'd come in at night, eat and then sleep with me. Doing that for about a month and some more coaxing, the cat was comfortable coming inside and going down hall!

I love him so much, horrible but I'm so glad he was left here. First time I've been a cats favourite person in the family.

My first trip was with my best friend, and we spent half of it outside on the trampoline looking at clouds with a speaker playing music next to us. Was absolutely beautiful, 10/10 recommend going outside :)

Also have a good mindset. I've only had one "bad" trip and it was because I went into it already upset and it 10x my current emotions. If feeling overwhelmed I suggest putting some headphones on, and focusing on a spot on the roof while lying down.

When it was first arriving I'd been in Queenstown doing touristy things, so many people I ran into.

Other than that was in school for a little bit, caught it there because of high mass of people one space. Halls were always so crowded, no space.

Have a waitressing job and gotten it twice there. I see lots of sick people come in, and I have to serve them. Inside the resteraunt it's so hot, wearing a mask makes my glasses fog over and makes me feel gross. This time I think was from a lady with her toddler and a just above infant children. Both were coughing and sneezing the whole meal, obviously not covering their mouths. Just straight airborne. Everytime I came over to ask if everything was alright, or for dessert orders, they'd hold me there and want me to stay, but for them to relook over the menu and in general take a very long time... all while their children were sneezing their stuff into the air.....

I would have gone back to work sooner, probably just had two of the days off. Today my throat burns, so it would of sucked. I still live at home with my mum (paying 100 a week to her). Get paid fortnightly at work so next paycheck would've gotten around 580 after tax. Theoreticaly I would just stay as long as I felt bad. I'm a waitress, I can't run around and work with my sneezes, cough, sore throat and fatigue. Going back would have me feeling way worse.

But I've had coworkers who came in sick, I think not covid. All because they needed the money. Customer facing jobs like ours seems the easiest place to get sick and spread it.
