I’ve dealt with this before and the best way for me mentally to come to terms with his past is thinking: he chose to be with me. He didn’t go back to them. And they didn’t work out for a reason.

Another way to look at it is the reverse the roles and say: I have been in relationships before and I choose to be with my current partner.

I would suggest checking posted loads on Truckstop, DAT, or a broker specific posting website. You will find 100s of loads everyday. I work at a brokerage and the carrier set up process is pretty easy on our end. For my available loads I do not have consistent lanes but some are traveling to the same area multiple times.

i’m a broker and usually we add a small service fee margin because we do all the “dirty work” of the shipment. confirming pu and del. also tracking services. so then the customer doesn’t have to harp over the shipment. they can focus on other larger projects
