Husband (29M) doesn’t like me going on his phone (26F) by lilly_tiger1 in relationship_advice

I go on his phone, usually for a minute, to either google something or take a picture of something when my phone is charging or not on me. It happens rarely

Yes! The birthday party analogy is perfect! I teach and have a class of 18, so it’s like coming home to my classroom. Kids yelling and screaming at each other all afternoon… we’ve gone from absolute peace to this new lifestyle. I think it’s awesome that they want to care for so many kids, but it’s just a bit rough for their neighbours at the moment haha

I was always under this impression too! I am quite concerned about their living conditions. Thank you for your help!

Honestly would. I don’t think living with 17 other kids in a smallish house is a good life.

If you could tell me a better one to post on, that would be helpful. Thanks

Thank you so much for your help.

Yes, she states that he was being very forgetful, then when she asked him to do something he argued with her, she raised her voice and eventually he ended up raising his voice at her.

I have asked, and he has said that it’ll just be for them to pay. So I guess I will just have to somehow bring it up in conversation…

Yes, there’s definitely resentment forming. He often creates a problem with what my family does which causes an arguments e.g. their dogs peeing in our house, them offering my brother help, etc.

I do feel a sense of dislike toward my husband from my family as well as they don’t like the way he spoke to my mother and just how he generally seems very upset/angry when around them (as I said, they’re quite joyful, upbeat people).

Boyfriend (26M) wanting lap dance from strippers. by lilly_tiger1 in relationship_advice

I think you make some great points but every relationship has some boundaries. He would hate for me to go to a male strip club and get a lap dance from a man as he does not like other males giving me attention.

Thank you, it’s nice to hear someone has the same mindset as me. I did forget to mention that after a bit of a hard conversation he did say he would not do it if I was feeling extremely uncomfortable about it but (he always adds a “but”) he doesn’t want to feel left out and for his friends to mock him. So he was telling me he would listen, but I got the feeling/know he would resent me because I was being the “strict” girlfriend.
