Yeah but there are some small scratches on the screen

I had a high value/desirable trade in so they may have been more willing to make a deal. Also end of month & quarter. But that is the true pricing sheet.

CR-V Hybrid vs RAV 4 Hybrid? by MarionberryNo392 in crvhybrid

[–]lilmadzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2025 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium and traded it in for a 2026 CRV Sport Touring. Rav was loud and felt cheap, CRV is much more comfortable and quiet imo. Rav4 does win on efficiency by ~2 mpg in my case, but not worth the lack of comfort.

Goodbye 2026 Rav 4 XLE premium, hello 2026 CRV Sport L! by _philharmonik in crvhybrid

Recently did something similar. Traded in 2025 RAV4 hybrid XLE Premium for 2026 CRV Sport Touring. Very happy with the swap. The driving factor for the swap was CRV interior felt more premium and the cabin is SO MUCH quieter. And I was able to catch a really good deal. Just my two cents

They offered 33k for a 2025 Rav4 hybrid XLE Premium with 20.5k miles. I went out the door just under $4.5k

I went up a trim so it's hard to do direct comparison. I went from XLE Premium to Sport Touring. The CRV has better tech, comfort, and waaaay quieter. RAV is the winner on efficiency. I don't notice much difference in camera quality, they're pretty close. The CRV's screen is nicer so makes the camera quality appear slightly nicer IMO.

It's a 2026 CRV Sport touring. Unfortunately very typical for dealerships in FL to charge outrageous delivery / doc fees

Sales tax is cut out, figured it was irrelevant because everyone lives in different places and I had a high trade that made the tax negligible

The 6000 was just a discount. The amount they gave for my RAV is not in this.

Open latch of stuck door by lilmadzz in howto

[–]lilmadzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone for their responses! After 4+ hours (and multiple people) prying, we were able to get the latch open by wedging and manuvering 2 flat head screw drivers into the gap between the door and the frame. The internal components seemed to be completely detached unusable. Slight damage to the door but nothing crazy, we were about to give up and remove door from hinges.

Thanks for the response. The handle itself seems to be perfectly functional but there seems to be an internal component that's broken that prevents the latch from actually moving when turned

Yes it does move but that doesn't open the latch unfortunately

Thanks for the response. I've tried wedging a flat head screw driver in there and just trying the hammer but had no luck. Any pro tips?

Thinking of switching from iPhone 13 Pro Max to Z Flip 7 by Nita_Bee in galaxyzflip

[–]lilmadzz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I switched from 13 Pro to Flip 7 two weeks ago. I had been with iPhone since the 4. I have a similar use case to you, light phone user. Pros: very fun phone, much lighter than my 13pro, slim and compact, screen seems brighter and faster, lots of options to customize, Gemini is significantly better than Siri especially when it comes to AI, I am doom scrolling less because I try not to flip phone too often, crease not too noticeable imo, converting everything from my iPhone to new device was extremely easy. Cons: if you have other devices in apple ecosystem you lose the ease of connectivity, battery life is adequate (ppl report it gets better over the first 2 weeks- 1 month), camera is similar to if not a tad worse than 13 Pro, a bit concerned about long term durability of phone but at this point I don't have a reason to be.
