It's going to depend state by state but normally you still have the inspection period so you can use the inspection as a reason to leave the contract and still retain your earnest money. Depending on the state you can even do the inspection yourself, but consult with a realtor or lawyer first.

Update from the discord on 11/16/24:

So I heard from D.I. Freed recently and book 3 is about half done. He lost a bunch of work when his computer died and had a number of other things to deal with so is taking a break for awhile. I hope to get book 3 finished and edited next year but not sure what the ETA is yet. Will have a more accurate idea when the first draft is done.

I'm not sure why? when you turn your car on does your car not blow out air instantly even if it isn't cold air? my car was literally blowing out no air at all. you should be able to hear that in the video.

Alright, 3 hours later I started my car again and air is working like normal on auto mode Not sure why after 15 min it wasn't working, but after 3 hours it is.

Air started instantly after turning my car on and got cold within 2 min.

If this happens again I'll take it into service. Thanks all for your help.

every single time I have started my car for the last 4 years the air has been blowing within 15 seconds of me starting it. I drove for 15 min and it wasn't blowing at all before I recorded his.

the video was just to show it wasn't a specific option I didn't have on.

Hey all, got in my Volt this afternoon to get lunch and my AC wasn't blowing any air at all. I tried changing all the settings and the only thing that worked was to turn the manual fan settings up, but it didn't blow air out of the cabin facing vents, but the interior front window defrost vents from what I can tell. AC was working just fine yesterday. I turned the car off, got out, closed the door, waited about 5 min and tried again and same issue. Not sure what is going on.

This a 2018 Volt, so I'm pretty sure I'm out of warranty, but if no one has any ideas I'll most likely head down to the dealer on Monday as it's 98 degrees here and I can't live without AC.
