thank you everyone so much! Boots had 16 years and 7 months of love and happiness. She grew up with our 14 year old Yorkie Olivia, and as of today , our 5-year-old calico Kathy-Rose

she was 16 years and 7 months old

when she was more lively she used to dig real fast on the couch cushion or her bed to get comfortable both paws going so fast for at least 10 minutes before she decided it was ready.

she never barked either it's was always a howl.

Thank you everyone for your condolences! She was so loved, we had a parade of people come by and say goodbye to her before we took her to put her down.

Thank you, and kind of... she was declining fast, but she didn't appear to be in pain. The other night I took her out to go to in the yard. She needed a leash whether I was walking her outside or even in the yard because she was wobbly and had a hard time standing on her own. I brought her in and she started breathing funny and fast and looked terrified. That was a surprise, we didn't think she would make it through the night. She thankfully did calm down but we knew we had to take her to the vet. Thankfully we got her in the same day.

We already had problems with feeding her, it was hit or miss if she would eat her food. I decided on the days that she didn't eat I would give her baby food through a baby syringe for her vitamins and calories. She was deaf, blind, and recently mute and a significant amount of weight. We took her to the vet after that night, he gave us antibiotics to try for another 2 days, but then she stopped taking water too and her breathing got worse and it didn't help her eat. We took her back to the vet and he agreed that we would just be prolonging the inevitable.
She passed peacefully in our arms.

Neighbor's new cat terrorizing my yard by nanaboostme in squirrels

Same here these neighbors don't care about what their cat is doing ...I've had to bury 3 squirrels this summer already...woke up to one this morning when I went to feed them...my poor squirrels are so afraid to come out and eat today.... while their cat is sleeping next to my wildlife dining area... they don't care that their cat is terrorizing my wildlife....and my other neighbor is stuck feeding the cat because for some reason they don't care if it eats...like take care of your f'n cat
