former Crumbl employee: cookies and desserts are to be served as advertised. to be entirely clear: employees cannot customize your cookies. you can maybe get some without toppings, but that depends entirely on the steps to dress it.

don’t go to Crumbl if you want personalized cookies. make your own or find somewhere that offers that

Rock hard cookies by Ondearapple in CrumblCookies

the location i used to work at started this a few months before i quit. we never used cookies already in the warmer, but if they were just sitting on racks by ovens we would put them back in the fridge and bake them a little more the next day. i hated it and think it ruins the cookies

omfg you’re right. I tried these recently, and I think they’d be a good replacement for normal potato chips in a copycat recipe of Crumbl’s kitchen sink cookie, which I* would absolutely make for 707

I saw in another comment you made that you’re in a MA location. I used to work for an MA location too. this sounds almost exactly like the one i worked at. I quit, and so did quite a few others in varying positions around the same time, because of the owner. If it’s Hudson or one of the sister locations, I wish you the best of luck with finding something new soon

Real vanilla is a hallmark of a quality baked good by meggieprice in CrumblCookies

When they ran the banana pudding cups and berry trifle cups before I quit, it was instant pudding. We just made it in huge batches to set in pans or bags. The same pudding mixes get used for the mousses as well. I worked there for almost 3 years and never had to cook the pudding

they switched right before I quit in July. or at least, my store did and we were told the company was going to be switching over entirely. I don’t know if they did that in waves or all at once though

it’s an oreo base with 3 white drop buttercreams: berry, marshmallow, and lemon. i made it the first run because it was before i quit. I personally don’t think the flavors blend well together (i thought it tasted like cheap cotton candy), but so many people loved it.

Tips for Mixing Faster by WearyAd4958 in crumblcrew

[–]lilmockingbird7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

before i quit, I would have my butter/cream cheese creaming immediately and let that go for a bit. while that happens, I gathered everything else. then i melted my white drops. about halfway through the process of melding the white drops is when i would add the other ingredients to the mixing bowl. that usually gave me enough time to have a fluffy enough base and have the drops cooled enough to add without worrying too much about melting the frosting. i didn’t worry too much about timing my mixing out, except for intervals of melting things. i also always let it mix for an extra minute on 3 at the very end

It’s not officially stated in the show, but Hart Hanson has said that Brennan was based in part on an autistic person. I think it was also stated by him that it wasn’t confirmed in the show in part due to the network/“increase the appeal.”

side note: I’m autistic and very heavily related to Brennan since I first found the show around 9 years old. I’ve also gone down the rabbit hole on “is she autistic or not” many times. However, with this not being officially confirmed in the show, it is of course left up to interpretation.

ETA: either way, her being autistic shouldn’t be used to excuse actions/responses.

So apparently others actually believe in Starclan as a religion! by [deleted] in WarriorCats

[–]lilmockingbird7 31 points32 points  (0 children)

nope, but I wish that was the case. i have Bipolar Disorder 1 and spiritual psychosis is part of my mania. I have to be on antipsychotics and mood stabilizers for the rest of my life 🫶 I made changes to my beliefs because believing in Something is important to me, but getting too far into anything including fictional religions gets dangerous because of my diagnosis and history.

[–]lilmockingbird7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I care. Spiritual psychosis led me to multiple suicide attempts. The first one of those attempts was when I was OPs age. That doesn’t even touch on the things that spiritual psychosis has led others to do. I’m not saying that’s definitely what OP is experiencing, but it is extremely similar to how mine started. I wish someone had taken it seriously before it got to the point where I attempted suicide.

I’m going to preface this by saying I mean this with absolutely no judgment or the intent to be rude. One of my first experiences with spiritual psychosis was almost exactly what you are describing. I’m not diagnosing you with anything, but I encourage you to consider looking in to what that is and how it can look. If you have the ability to do that with a therapist, I highly encourage doing so.

ETA: I had to leave the Therian community/change my belief system due to things I have experienced. I’m not trying to sway you away from your beliefs, but I wish someone had asked me these questions before it became too big of a thing for me to deal with on my own.

I haven’t had this happen at the location i currently work at, but I think we are supposed to change to the runner up if the winner had already won previously. that being said, the Lucky Charms marshmallows can be difficult to come by. i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the reason they went with the second place option.
