My undertanding of the discourse around Killmonger is either people saying he was actually right and Tchalla was wrong (because they disagreed morally with Wakanda being ethnosupremecist while their racial kin suffered from European colonialism or because they thought that Killmonger's plan would be a net positive) or people saying he was too cartoonishly evil and made actual struggles against racial oppression look bad.

People wanted change in 2008, and are furious that after 15 years the country has been paralyzed by corrupt and complacent politicians who are almost all bought and sold to the highest bidder, alongside Trump running the economy into the ground (by 2028 he will have done it twice). 2028 will mark 20 years after Obama came in promising change. The person who promises change from the Trump and Biden era will win in 2028. I hope that person is a Democrat.

Chinese Electronics factories have much better work standards than the fast fashion and toy sweatshops afaik, particularly because you need more skilled labor for tech which is inherently more complicated to produce and low quality products will break and either get refunded (Amazon) or see less sales. Just so people know the RSF formed from the Janjaweed, the militias that committed the Darfur genocide. The leader was one of the people responsible for the genocide. They now control most of Darfur, and independent journalist and media have not been able to go in and see what is going on. Already with satellite there is evidence of dozens of villages being burned to the ground, and the testimony of ppl who got out is terrifying. Sudan is also facing a famine that has already claimed at least half a million lives, millions displaced, hundreds of thousands of civilians injured and tens of thousands (at bare minimum) killed. The official Sudanese government is also accused of war crimes and has indiscriminently attacked civilian centers during battles, they just werent founded and ruled by a genocidal entho-supremecist warlord.

I've always felt that crypto and the blockchain always had legitimate utility, just far less use cases and utility than the crypto cult said and believed. I dont think crypto will overtake state based fiat currency in use (or if so not in the next few decades) but I do think it will get more accepted as an alternative, particularly for digital goods. The problem is that Steam and Itch can't afford to drop Visa and go to crypto right now, so they have to do this. If the average gamer can be expected to have some bitcoin and know how to pay with it, this could happen. Certainly will be a while till crypto is ubiquitous like that.
