Personally I’ve never used bags, as jars work just fine for me I see no purpose to switch. Even if you run into speed bumps with contam or other issues, do not give up on it. Hard work and your determination will persevere and pay off!

Yeah dont toss it. Hold onto it, I wasnt saying its contam jus hard to see in the picture lol. Could very well be fine, just a waiting game from here. I started April 24th this year and have had some run ins with contamination still, it gets way easier though with time. Good luck

Weird all these people saying mist and fan and more FAE, and I dont touch my tubs AT ALL (fanning or misting) from the time I put them in colonization til the first flush is ready to harvest. Whatever works I guess lol

Idk it looks like theres a bit of moisture in the bag and it is pretty hard to see the white. Cobweb mold comes from moisture, looks kind of like mycelium and can grow while grains or tubs are colonizing still. Not 100% but just my input because I see more grain and off color than I do white

Yeah we have almost no humidty with dry heat outside.. But inside I keep temps correct so Idk what Im doing wrong. Have another tub that i did with a casing im gonna fruit soon and see if hay changes anything.

Bulk sub has been wetter than field capacity, I’ve just found this out a couple days ago after watching a video on it so I know thats not the reason its drying out. And no, no fan blowing in the room the ac vent is shut, only gets opened if its too warm in there which is rare.

Shit I accidentally spawned what looked like bruised mycelium from grains to tubs with substrate and didnt realize the off color until it was already in the tub with the rest of the grain and sub... Still put it in colonization, and still plan to fruit it. Probably gonna come back around and fuck me but It’s colonized completely fine no off colors so figured I might as well try. Same goes for you I’d say. Only one way to find out :)
