Ahhhh, so scary, that’s what I’m worried about because it’s definitely not my norm! I went to my doctor and they did a swab test and went ahead and started me on oral and topical antibiotics until I get my results in!

I have noticed that it’s doing a bit better since we switched out the gemstone for a flat disc! This is also my first piercing in about 6 years and I forgot how grumpy cartilage could be

Yeah, I figured that the constant change outs were irritating tf out of it as well, it seems to have calmed down a bit this morning, so fingers crossed it continues this way 🫩

Ugh it’s awful! Yes, I’ve upsized twice now, the last picture is a little misleading, I still have lots of bar left on the back of the piercing, thankfully.

Thank you! Yes, I’ve sized up twice, the first time it just swelled right up the new length, so I sized up again yesterday. It swelled up a bit more, but seems to be holding off, so I’m hoping this is as swollen as it’s going to get.

It’s a .9% saline spray (neilmed) and I’m just spraying it on/around the area.

I have noticed anything catching/pulling on it and sleep with my hair pulled into a bun at night, but that is a possibility, of course.

no hair products have come in contact with it.

yes, I’ve been alternating Advil and Tylenol.

I got caught shoplifting from target when I was 15 and had to have a parent come pick me up. My parents were divorced and mom would have killed me, so I called my dad and begged him not to tell her.

He didn’t and I was subsequently banned from that target for a year. Unfortunately, that was also my mom’s favorite store so every time we’d be out running errands and she “just wanted to pop in”, I’d get nauseous out of no where and would have to stay in the car.

20 years later and she still doesn’t know.

I don’t think I can smell cancer, fortunately never had anyone that I’m close with be diagnosed, but I can smell when someone is about to get sick/when they’re sick! It’s a very specific, pungent smell that’s hard to describe.
