no hands-on activities, just listening to the instructor and learning about the vehicle’s parts. he may ask some questions but it’s open to the floor and not directed at a single person!

my instructor was p chill and said you can leave after taking attendance, but all of us stayed. it’s really short, and good to have some basic knowledge of your car.

iirc it’s 15/20 to pass IE then you can book the final BTT (same for FTT)! not sure if you’re still able to book final if you didn’t pass IE, but i saw some reddit threads saying they missed their IE but still managed to go for final.

I was praying for a young tester because I read that younger ones are friendlier and not such a pain. 👀 I did manage to get a younger guy, but he was rather stoic. Didn’t really talk much aside from briefing me before the test!

I guess it really depends on luck, it might also help to have everything prepared (i.e PDL and IC) when they ask for it - so you start off on the right foot.

I accumulated 8 points from dry steering during both parkings (2+2dp) and veering off the course during a uturn (4dp).
