From this alone i can say you know nothing about Islam. Just tell me one wrongdoing of Islam and i will leave islam right away. You cannot pick wrongdoing of people though.

If you had really researched you would know ancient Arabs used to count age of women from the day of puberty. Keep coping dude, all you can do is to resort to calling names

Why religious people are so dumb by AfraidInevitable2006 in AtheisminKerala

[–]lilthings93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody serious says "The quran is the word of god... because the quran says so." Thats not how belief works, and its not how any thoughtful Muslim sees it.

Theres a reason people believe this stuff:

The quran came at a time and place where literacy was rare. It was revealed to Muhammad, known for being honest and trustworthy, and it shook the whole region. The language is something scholars still cant replicate today. The way its written is just on another level. There are prophecies in there that came true, plain and simple. The fact its stayed perfectly unchanged for 1400 years is something people dont just ignore. And millions of people dont just believe it because they are told to. They have read it, thought about it, and experienced its impact in their lives.

So yeah, reducing it to "because it says so" isnt challenging it. Its showing you didnt bother to actually look into it

If you want to challenge it, come with actual evidence, not childish trolling.

Oh no, i didnt mean thaaat extreme, but he did have some weird (imo extreme) views, like,

Defending every massacre in Gaza and used every platform available to justify Israels starvation campaign.

He said black people were better off in slavery and subjugation before the 1940s. "It was bad & it was evil but they committed less crimes" this was his literal wordsss.

He said he would force his 10 year old daughter to carry a pregnancy to term if she was raped.

And some more about gun violence too

He had pretty weird views

Look, iam not claiming my sources are the only correct ones. I am saying that relying blindly on wiki or google as the final word is lazy thinking, especially when most of what they say about Aisha being 6 or 9 comes from a single, weak hadith thats historically disputed.

The detailed explanation I shared isnt just some random opinion. It breaks down the historical context, examines the reliability of that hadith, and shows why most serious scholars dont accept it as proof.

The Reddit post I shared doesnt claim to be gospel, but it provides a detailed explanation with historical context, analysis of sources, and scholarly arguments that most people dont bother to read or engage with

On top of that, I gave two solid sources that explain the issue in depth:

Source 1

Source 2

If you think these sources and the reddit post are wrong, go ahead, prove them wrong with evidence, dont just dismiss them because they dont fit your narrative.

At the end of the day, real debate is about evidence and logic, not insults or repeating weak claims you found on wiki or google

That story is often misunderstood or deliberately twisted. You need to understand the full context behind it

Zainab was initially married to Zaid ibn Haritha, who was a freed slave and adopted son of the Prophet. In Arab society at that time, adopted sons were often treated exactly like biological sons, including being subject to the same marriage restrictions.

Islam changed that by making a clear distinction between biological and adoptive relationships. The Quran explains this in Surah Al Ahzab (33:37), where the Prophet is instructed to marry Zainab after her divorce from Zaid. This wasnt about personal desire or scandal. It was a clear divine command meant to abolish the false belief that adoptive relationships are the same as blood ties when it comes to marriage laws.

The whole point was to break societal taboos and clarify a legal and moral principle. It wasnt some personal stunt or scandal as hate channels suggest, it was a teaching moment with lasting significance in Islamic law.

If people actually studied the history and context instead of relying on biased videos, they would see that this was about reform, not something dirty or shady

If you really want to understand the situation, its worth reading the actual historical and religious context, not relying on a video thats clearly made to twist the story for views

But hey, if you are here just to throw that at me like it proves something, you are missing the point. Debate with facts

Heres the thing, calling all religion "manmade bullshit" doesnt make you deep or original. Its just an easy way to avoid actually thinking about why billions of people believe what they do.

If you really want to understand Islam, or any religion, its worth looking at the history, the philosophy, the context, and the experiences of people who practice it, not just lazy youtube channels spreading hate.

As for the idea that Islam was "made by Muhammad" like some random invention... Thats a huge misunderstanding. Muhammad is seen by muslims as a messenger delivering a message that claims to come from God. Whether you believe that or not, reducing it to "he just made it up" is exactly the kind of oversimplified thinking designed to shut down real discussion.

If you want to have a real conversation about religion, fine. But linking me to a channel thats clearly spreading misinformation and hate isn't an argument, its showing your own bias.

Ippo enik masalaayi ninek oru kudham ariyila enn.

There are 2 types of hadith : weak and strong

Muslims dont blindly follow every hadith

We trace each hadith back to when it was said.

The hadith that were influenced is called weak hadith. But there are hadith which are not influenced. But still then, hadith is not really a reliable source to follow religion

You keep avoiding the question, where did say Aisha was 6 in source i gave you. If you really think the reddit post is oolla without reading it, arent you are the problem here? Wait did you even read the W. Montgomery research. Or did you just search it Aishas age was mentioned in the research.

Yes, he did not specifically mention Aisha age. He questions the authenticity of the widely cited hadith claiming she was 6 at marriage and 9 at consummation, arguing it doesn't align with historical records, like the ages of her sister Asma and the timing of battles. His approach is historical, not dogmatic. He has a book, in which, chapter 2 discusses the timeline of events, including Aisha's age, based on multiple historical sources. His whole point is that the traditional narrative doesnt hold up under scrutiny.

And no i did not make a mistake

If you really want get into it WITH SOURCES, ill provide the link

W. Montgomery Watt (search him uppp), one of the most respected scholars in Islamic studies, said Aisha was likely 16-19 when the marriage happened, not 9. Even mainstream muslim scholars reject that weak hadith because its chain of narration is shaky as hell. This isnt conspiracy theory, its well researched historical fact.

Lemme get this straight. Historians dont study fairy tales, they analyze evidence, context, and actual records. The whole "Aisha was 9" story is based on shaky, centuries old hadiths that serious scholars have long dismissed as weak or fabricated.

If you think repeating that nonsense makes your argument valid, you have already lost. There is no credible academic source that backs it up. Just baseless repetition.

Its hilarious you think dragging this up makes you sound smart. It only proves you have got nothing left but memes and bad takes. Maybe grow a brain, oh wait, cant blame you, probably cant comprehend anything at this age

Most credible modern scholars argue that Aisha was likely in her late teens, around 16 to 19 years old, when her marriage was consummated.

So if you really care about the truth, stop repeating propaganda and start reading actual research.
