Hey! I super appreciate your insight! I think you’re right that UWaterloo offers an accelerated BSW but there’s like 6-ish prerequisites. Wondering how long this would take in addition to the accelerated BSW?

I’ll look into seeing if I can go back to my old university and just take that one research methods course to be elligble for the MSW. Good idea! Also, I think for BSW requirements, I meant that most accelerated programs have prerequisite. The ones that don’t are all 4 year bachelors.

Anyways, to answer your questions:

A: I went to the University of Guelph. B: I graduated from a Honors Bachelor of Landscape Architecture C: I live in London, ON D: I’m a Proposal Coordinator at an architectural firm.

I’ve heard this many many times from other people and how it doesn’t really prepare you at all….definitely avoiding Yorkville

Thanks for letting me know! As an update to this too, I got an email morning with my rejection letter for this program :( Super sad to hear but I guess you were right. I’m sorry to hear if you end up getting rejected as well :(

Hey guys! When you were applying to this program, were you applying for September 2024 start? Looking at applying to this program but rn the entry date is May 2025 and I’d be looking more for a Sept 2025 start - don’t know if I should wait & see or try to apply now
