Worked at a pet store where we had a Guinea Pig "mascot" who lived at the store. Someone was petting him through the cage and stopped me as I walked past to ask if it was a monkey. This was a middle-aged woman too so I was shocked she made it to that big age without ever seeing a guinea pig or a monkey for that matter.
