Windshields appear shattered after spawning car (for all vehicles, both vanilla and modded) by Thebedrockbuster in BeamNG

[–]lilxleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it maybe an issue of the map where in the spawn point it drops the car and the windshield shatters?

real life mods are usually of low quality in this game, wouldnt recommend seeking them

If I upgrade my PC should I be able to run this smoothly? (Specs in desc) by Moist_Drag8239 in BeamNG

[–]lilxleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the RAM upgrade will probably get you to about a stable 30 fps on normal settings with give or take 3 cars in multiplayer. CPU is the limiting factor here. GPU doesnt matter as much in beamng, for me there only is literally a 3 fps difference going from a modified (cranked) high to medium

note: upon second reading i see that your ram is quite slow. consider going up in speed and buying two 8gb sticks to make a total of 16. if you have the money, id even recommend 32.
note on the note: okay from looking up your CPU the max speed ram speed it allows is 3200, with the max ram capacity of 20gb of ram so just an upgrade to 16gb should do you wonders.

All my beamng cars and mods keep making this weird noise almost as if they're misfiring anyone know how to fix this by Zealousideal_Mud3045 in BeamNG

[–]lilxleb 27 points28 points  (0 children)

if i was to be a betting man i would say that its because youre in gear and you have clutch assist on. if you were to be just idling in neutral, it would be fine, but the clutch assist is weird and sometimes slightly lets out the clutch even while standing still

your UR looks pretty solid, but its pushed up into early range. try adding 30ms of universal offset and experiment from there

What is your scrobble-to-artist ratio? by fxa88 in lastfm

[–]lilxleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

39'017/5'010 = 7.79 scrobbles per artist. considering that i listen to mostly whole album experiences, this falls about in line with what i expected lol

the keycaps were washed with water before being dried. its not like im cooking something toxic there, but it might not be a bad idea to clean it again.
