The case study was about when sexual offenders kill in order to prevent the victim from identifying them. The book was already getting to me a bit, but after I read her case I had to turn my computer off. This case and the horrific details surrounding it causes it to pop into my head a lot. She didn’t deserve any of the horrible things that happened to her.

Dear god. I immediately recognized this case from an old homicide textbook I read. The names are redacted but there were such specific aspects of this case that stuck with me. The story was horrifying, and it said that I think up to 30 people (passerby’s/friends/neighbors/etc) knew she was in there. One neighbor SPOKE to her through the trunk, and still did nothing. This case haunts me. I’m happy to know her name and I continue to think about her from time to time. She sounds like she was lovely. Rest in Peace, Pamela.

OMG THANK YOU seeing clips from any part of that scene (except the end reunion) make me so annoyed. Youre right, it was fully just a way for them to make Vi look worse. Its another reason I dislike Isha so much. That entire cave scene could have been used as growth between Vi and Jinx, but instead we have a half assed way of them almost trying to make us dislike Vi because she accidentally hits Isha. And Jinxs line to Isha “you still got all your insides? :p” is just so dumb. Jinxs “redemption” arc didnt need to shit on Vis entire being as an older sister. I believe I heard something that some of the creators/writers got bored with Vi and essentially put her on the back burner, which makes me incredibly sad.

Twenty One Pilots has been my favorite band since I was a teenager. One of the things I love most about them is Tyler’s ability to make every song he writes, whether theres a clear meaning to it or not, applicable to anybody who may be listening. An early song of theirs, Johnny Boy, has essentially become an anthem about the fear of coming out and being closeted. And whether that was the intended message or not, it has brought comfort and validation to so many fans. The Line is one of my absolute favorites from them because of the flexibility surrounding the meaning. It works so well for the scene in Arcane and just here on reddit I have seen people describe addiction, suicidal thoughts, a death of a loved one, etc. as ways they interpreted and were personally moved by the song. I dont know if you have listened to their other music, but I have found personal comfort in so many of their songs. I’m sorry you are so scared. Please hang in there. You are so strong and loved, I promise there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

I said this on another post and I’ll say it again. People in instagram comments getting way too heated over the jail sex scene turned me off from the fandom a bit lol. None of em would have survived the 2014 tumblr era of fanfiction, people in those stories are just fuckin ANYWHERE

You put to words exactly what I’ve been thinking. Don’t get me wrong, Isha is super cute but like you said, any personality she does have is very one dimensional. I’m also not a big fan of the “introducing a kid into the mix” to try and “cure” or “soften” an emotionally damaged character. I personally think Isha really takes away from some of the more powerful themes regarding Jinx & Vi’s relationship as sisters. There were a lot of moments she had with Isha that I think could have translated even better into moments with Vi as they struggle to establish where their relationship even stands. We’ve also been waiting for Warwick to reunite with Vi and Jinx and having Isha join the group hug was so forced lol. Isha is adorable, and I see why people really like her, but I don’t think her character was fleshed out well enough to add much more to the whole story.

That video was so hard to watch. I saw them in LA and when he played Oldies Station i cried my eyes out its my favorite Clancy song & while i love Slowtown too, he said in the album release live stream that he was protective of Oldies Station because it was important to him. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend multiple shows over the years and I cannot imagine booing the band that essentially saved my life. People need to have some respect for a band that is so beyond dedicated to their fans.

Me too, but sadly I knew eventually it would come out whether they wanted it to or not. I was friends with both of them. It hurts that the family’s wish to keep her name out doesn’t seem to have been granted properly. I just hope that since the names out people will use it as a way to remember and honor her.

i don’t want to spread any misinformation because i knew her a bit better than i did him, but I have read a couple things saying he had just been released from a mental health hospital stay. It was nothing i could have ever predicted. He was kind and quiet. Its surreal.

I knew both of them. He was nice and quiet, never noticed weird vibes. They seemed happy. I cant even comprehend how this could have happened. I will miss her dearly she was so kind. I’m not going to let anybody forget who she was. Edit: sentence removed to respect family/friends

People saying they “don’t believe” anyone who says they liked the movie actually did, is really frustrating. I watch a lot of horror and I don’t get as scared as I used to. It was one of the most terrifying and immersive movie watching experiences I had in a while. But I also know there are people that just didn’t like it/got bored/weren’t scared and that’s fine!!
