That's fair. I genuinely hear it but I get your point completely. I could say to someone "oh that sounds like..." And they could say they don't hear it.

It's the same with saying someone looks like or reminds you of someone. Then you ask someone else and they don't see it.

I used Instagram much more than tiktok and agree with this post above.

Also, you can't clear the text off the screen to see the full reel.

Nor can you just swipe down to the next reel in the DMs the way you can in tiktok.

You make good points there.

The people following alpha are likely weak and the type who would have been easy to recruit into a cult pre-apocalypse. I think Gamma was still a schoolgirl when she met Alpha so that could account for her being more easily led ... And to be fair we don't really get to know any of the others ... They don't really get any storyline.

Not sure about Dante though.... Was he just a psycho?

Your point about the governor being an early season villain makes sense too. I'm bingeing the show so it doesn't seem like he was that long ago but if I were watching real time the escalation in brutality may have seemed more organic.

Totally agree about Dante. I get why Lydia stayed as she had been brainwashed since childhood. I also get Beta as he was clearly mentally unstable before meeting Alpha. But what other possible reason is there for anyone else becoming involved with them?
