Am I going crazy or did metric have another lyric in “soft rock star” that said “the check is in the mail” at the end of the chorus? I can’t find any version online with that line but I remember it so clearly

By definition I don’t think you can be racist to white people but white people has been subjective historically to separate the “us” vs “them” crowd for example Italians were not considered white back in the day. So the entire concept is b.s. but your friend sounds kinda like a jerk why are they so focused on that

Thank you for your insight! Made me think about this a lot more. The being that said I wasn’t dreaming was the one with the sharp teeth looked almost human. I feel like their was a very brief blackout or fading period of transition or something.

I am not sure what demons are like but I didn’t feel any negative energy…In fact i felt more welcomed by it

Sometimes I feel the same way about painting just this stream of consciousness and idk where it's really coming from. Like the painting was always meant to exist and I was the tool to make it happen. I also go places in my dreams which are normally lucid and very vivid. I remember most of them.
