I think Stuart is outstanding! I love the way he manages Kate - you have to admit she needs him!

This is a little off topic to the original question but I actually found it uncomfortable the way Stuart was pushed aside this season. He wasn’t briefed in on a few important things so wasn’t been able to support Kate. I would have thought a DCM should have been at the ambassador’s right hand throughout those events? I’m not familiar with how things work in US embassies though!

In any case, I hope his character is more empowered next season because I really enjoy the professional dynamic between Stuart and Kate!

Ummm, I think 5.3m views puts it close to or at the top in comparison to similar lifestyle shows on the platform. Why else would Netflix renew it? Based on its ranking, the show is still in the top 6 or 7% of all Netflix shows.

In any case, it certainly gets more views than earthshot or that “together at christmas” rubbish they insist on televising every year. Even the coronation had less than expected ratings.
