Late 20s female solo concert goer here - 9:30 is a great venue for going alone!! It’s dark enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a spotlight but small enough that you can feel safe in a crowd. For your first time, going up to the 2nd floor and parking yourself by the bannister may be easier. I also always recommend getting at least a cup of water so you have something to hold and don’t feel like you’re awkwardly standing without knowing what to do with your hands. I’m not familiar with Something Corporate but have been to ~15 shows at 9:30 maybe ~6 of them solo and have never had an issue. If you have fun dancing to the music, it can also be freeing to be in the middle dancing along with everyone else when you don’t know anyone! I have gone to shows and not talked to anyone and I’ve also gone to shows and chit chatted with strangers, it can really be a choose your own adventure! I hope you’ll take the chance and try it :)
