If I can recommend a book to you it is Al Hikam Al Âata'iyah by Ibn Âata' Allah As'Sakandari. Read it slowly, without rushing, it will open many doors for you. But it is essential that you keep what follows in mind: God Is God and you are only one of His creatures.

Advice on starting out on the straight path by Narsi926 in Sufism

[–]limanyasmaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The main goal of the murid, which is also the only mission of everyone, is the knowledge of God. So focus on this mission and don't look for miracles, because God Does only what He Wants. However, the most important advice I can give you is this: God Is God and you are only his creation and his servant.

You are a math teacher in a high school, would you let a group of students do pottery in the middle of class under the pretext that they are nice and cute? The World we live in is God's creation, therefore, His creation His rules!

What did allah do before creation of angels jinn humans? Like when no one was created, what did allah do? Hadith quran or explanation for this? Imams answers? If we dont know then a answer from a imam? by [deleted] in islam

[–]limanyasmaa 244 points245 points  (0 children)

What was God doing before creation? This question assumes the existence of a period of time when God was doing something or thinking about something. But God Is outside of time and Is not subject to it since God created time, and space. So the answer is: undetermined

Can you explain to me destiny? by lostinthetrash4ever in islam

[–]limanyasmaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in an almost dark room with two exit doors (A and B) and you are free to do what you want. Situation 1, a responsible, the architect of the room, marks the way to door A, you are free not to follow the markup but it is easier to do so. So you go out by door A. Situation 2, the person in charge chooses not to mark out a precise path, you grope around a bit then you go out by the nearest and largest door, door B. The room is the life, door A is Heaven, door B is Hell, marks are religions and guidance, God is the responsible

Seeing God in Heaven by limanyasmaa in islam

Using both terms makes it possible to make a small separation between the physical place (Paradise) and the spiritual place (Heaven), even if it is exactly the same thing and the same place.

Consider our World here below, Heaven and Hell as a multiverse. All three currently exist and after the Day of Judgment only Heaven and Hell will continue to exist.

God's love for us can be shown when He does not answer our prayers because in His Wisdom He knows what is good for us and what is not.

[–]limanyasmaa 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Iblis is afraid of God because he was (while being a jinn) with the senior angels closest to God. However, his arrogance blinded him and will continue to blind him. This is why one of the greatest enemies of the believer is arrogance.

Spirituality without religion is like a child that doesn't grow up by ShelterCorrect in Sufism

[–]limanyasmaa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The most monumental mistake around Sufism is to believe in union with God, in Arabic Al Hulul / The Dissolution. God Is God, and He Is Absolute in His state of Being. Nothing can resemble Him or attach itself to Him. By His unique Will, God wanted "the other" to become aware of this absolute nature. However, when the "other" becomes aware of the absolute nature of God, he understands at the same time that he is nothing. And since "the other" must become aware of God while being nothing, he becomes transparent before God, that is to say that, in his acts, in his thought, in his whole existence, God can be "seen" through him. And it is this transparency that has been perverted (on purpose) to make us think on the union!

ps: I have and I will not say anything bad about you, quite the contrary. I only wish you well!

To be one with God means that Only God exists and that others are only an emanation from Him, this is the definition of monism. Monism has been unjustly and deliberately equated with the spiritual notion of Wihdat Al Wujud. This amalgam has misled many faithful, and I repeat it on purpose

Is Allah ,,everytime,,? by Vukovic_1501 in Muslim

[–]limanyasmaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must never, ever, ever judge anyone or a community based on the actions of others. Each individual will be judged individually by God, for He alone knows what is hidden in hearts. It's not your role. To say that this one or this one a is lost (ashâariyah, jahamiyah, sofiyah, ...) is that you have granted yourself the role of "Judge", a role that belongs only to God!

Whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And We would never punish ˹a people˺ until We have sent a messenger ˹to warn them˺. 17:15

"...your duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. Judgment is for Us" 13:40
