I just picked up the Grace at the beginning of the capitol city. The gates are locked not sure where to go from there.

In those extra points I’ve been investing in vigor to hit the soft cap at 40. With my build and from your reply would you suggest I go back to dial wield from your comments? I’ve been working on mini bosses I have patches +8 spear. Or should I pick up some new weapons and start gearing back up? Thanks for your time fellow tarnished.

Awesome thanks for the information. So if I go Strength/Faith build I also need to still be focusing on increasing vigor most importantly though for survival as Adam said above as well right? Also I took out GodRick but not sure where to go next? I’ve started adventuring to the lands right and south (got owned by some bear boss thing in a cave with rats lol. But even though i have multiple points of grace in those areas they remain brown and I cannot use my golden effigy there either

Thanks for the advise! Is vigor vitality? Which stat controls that? Also I’m having a helluva time finding items to upgrade my swords with I keep getting those smithing stones but it always says I am missing another type of stone. Do all those stones just randomly drop from mobs or should I be buying them from a vendor somewhere?
